Little Dinner Party in Wine Country

A few weeks ago Bustle had the honor of producing an intimate dinner party for 15 people in Sonoma at a beautiful private estate. This dinner party was a birthday dinner for the fabulous miss Kelley. She pretty much knew what she wanted so we helped with some of the details and completed the production of this sweet soiree. Guests were greeted with a cucumber infused vodka and strawberry cocktail and dined alfresco with divine dishes from Tyler Florenece's main man Chef Tyson Greenwood. The food looked phenom and I would expect nothing less from this talented chef.

The table was our job and we wanted to keep it fun and intimate. The wooden kings tables were the best choice to keep with the outdoor feel. We used cheesecloth for a soft table runner and each place setting started with a vintage plate Kelley had picked up while at a flea market. Then we rented mismatched vintage silverware and gold rimmed glasses. Each plate was adorn with a purple napkin and menu tied with twine. Place card tags were tied to a take home gift of the infused vodka cocktail.

The floral was left to my main woman Yasmin from Floral Theory and boy did she knock it out of the park. Yasmin's arrangements brought texture and color to the table. She arranged wooden boxes of color blocked purple flowers including parrot tulips, lilac, sweet peas, anemones and viburnum berries to create an ombre effect.  Between the wooden boxes tiny bud vases dotted the table with single notes pulled from the centerpiece.


After dinner guest cozied up  fireside with sweet treats and blankets.
