Eat, Drink & Be Married

In tune with the weekend I wanted to share some great drink ideas. If you are trying to cut costs on the bar tab for you wedding or other event here is an idea. Try offering just one signature drink with the regular wine and beer menu. If you pick a drink that matches your colors and taste great your guests will love it. Most importantly your bank account will love it even more because you are only having to pay for one type of liquor instead of a bar full.

Below are some ideas for your signature drink.





Blood Orange Martini




Ingredients
4 ounces vodka
1/2 ounce triple sec or flavored orange liqueur
2 ounces blood orange juice
2 blood orange slices
Directions
In a martini shaker combine all ingredients except the orange slices with a generous amount of ice. Shake vigorously for a few seconds. Strain the libation from the ice into a martini glass. Garnish with the orange slices.









Raspberry Mojito Pitcher



Ingredients:- 6 oz Cruzan light rum- 4 oz Rock Candy Syrup (or simple syrup)- 6 lime halves- handful of raspberries- 30 - 40 sprigs of fresh mint leaves- club soda. Build in mixing pitcher. Press 6 lime halves and simple syrup. Add rum, mint leaves, raspberries, crush, fill with ice. Stir and top with club soda.

Cantaloupe Martini




Ingredients:- 1 oz. Vodka- 2 oz. Marie Brizard Watermelon Liqueur- 2 oz. Orange Juice- Squeeze of fresh Lime Juice. Garnish: CherryMix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with Cherry.







Big Apple Martini


Ingredients:- 2 oz p.i.n.k. vodka- 1 oz sour apple schnapps- 1/2oz pineapple juice- 1/2 oz sour mix- drizzle of Chambord. Garnish: apple sliceCombine vodka, sour apple schnapps, pineapple juice, and sour mix over chipped ice and shake well. Strain into a well-chilled martini glass. Drizzle Chambord through the center. Garnish with a granny smith apple slice on the side of the glass.
