Desert Glam Wedding:: Part 1

I can finally show you the amazing wedding we were a part of last year in Palm Springs at the most Gorgeous private estate. All captured by the ever talented photo duo Joielala.

This amazing wedding was just featured on one of my favorite blogs Green Wedding Shoes pop on over to see the full feature.

Here is a bit of their love story told by Meg the bride:

Scott and I met briefly at a work event at a bar in San Francisco in 2005. His then roommate and my best friend also met that night, and they began dating shortly after. A few weeks later, they insisted that we meet and set us up on what was basically a blind date since we only said a quick hello the night we met. After that date we were inseparable. One year passed and my previous career in hotel real estate required that I move to LA; Scott + I decided it made sense to breakup…if our relationship was meant to be it would be sometime in the future! I spent one year in LA and moved back to the Bay Area. Scott and I reunited over dinner, and that night we knew that we couldn’t live without each other.

In May of 2011, on the anniversary of the day we first met at that work event, Scott and I were doing yard work at the home we purchased together in 2010. We were planting a tree and as I was digging, I hit a small cardboard box in the ground. I was completely confused and thought the previous owners had buried something. I found a small white box inside that dirty cardboard box, and Scott got down on one knee. Obviously, I said yes! And obviously he chose the place we’d be planting that tree.
