Love & Hankies

Incorporating vintage handkerchiefs into your big day bring a sense of elegance and charm. Hand-me-down hankies are a unique way to embrace your heritage and the options are near to endless.

Introductions & {Rummage the Shed}

Good morning lovelies things have been growing over here at Bustle, so the time has come to hire an intern and we found the perfect fit...please blow kisses to our new intern... Kaitlyn! Kaitlyn share our passion for bringing amazing details and personality to every wedding. We are so happy to have her on our team and we didn't have any hesitation about throwing here right into our blog. So from now on Tuesdays you will be seeing posts from Kaitlyn.

This morning I was inspired by what else but my old pop’s garage! What may look like piles of junk could be heaps of treasure for your rustic wedding. From old tool boxes to wheelbarrows, old scales, chicken wire, typewriters, antique tools, wooden ladders, and even an old truck or classic motorcycle. It’s also a fantastic way to get the men in the family involved in your big day, so don’t be afraid to hand them over a project or two! I urge you to take a trip over to the old shed, wipe off the dust, and enjoy discovering an abundance of retro and rustic finds. Rummage away!

Lounge Back in Time

Want to bring a vintage charm to your wedding day? Setting up a lounge consisting of vintage furniture is a great way to bring out your Heritage.

Love in Literature

I have always been a fan of incorporating a couples hobbies into their wedding day and I couldn't help but love the idea of doing a library themed wedding. These ideas will help give your wedding a literary feel:)

Real Wedding {Forest Hill: JD & Natalie}

Did you spy our feature on Style Me Pretty yesterday? If not pop over and check it out now.

This couple was so fun and their joy could be felt just by sitting in a room with them. J.D. and Natalie wanted their guests to be treated to a fun night filled with dancing, photobooths and snacks. I wanted the signs to be a bit more cheeky and fun. Please enjoy this bright vibrant wedding.

Get Laid...

Here are some fab vintage bed ideas. I mean how much more romantic can you get?

A Touch of Romantic History

Vintage lace doilies can be a unique way to incorporate a vintage touch to your BIG DAY. I love the soft old world romantic feel they can lend to to a party and who would have thought you could also make a dress out of them.

Let's take it Outside

Adding indoor furniture outdoors creates a warm homey outside for your guests to enjoy.

Climbing Up

Vintage ladders are one of my favs and incorporating them into weddings is utter perfection.

A Different Kind of Key

As you know I have a serious obsession with all things vintage and old typewriters have to be one of my favs. My favorite is the kind with the circular keys, there is so much you can do with them.
Here are just a few ideas...

What's Happening at the Boutique?

I just realized I have not been posting in this area for a while, so I am bringing it back. Things have been crazy here at Bustle. We have been booking 2012 couples and still have a few 2011 spots open. Our days have been filled with design meetings, sketches, site visits and vendor relations. Wedding season is in full swing over here. We also launched our Custom & Vintage rental company Heritage & Craft. Bustle also launched our Styling services for photoshoots.

We will be styling for the fall/winter issue of a major magazine. We are so excited to have this opportunity.

Shutter Time

Old shutters are such a beautiful addition to your wedding decor. The possibilities are endless!
