Friday Wrap Up

This week was so busy and I wanted to wrap it up by leaving you with a blog post from Orange Photography who took amazing pics at our For Japan With Love benefit. Bustle was in charge of most of the decor and created all the signs and dessert table decor. Our sister company Heritage & Craft donated all the vintage rentals.

To all who attended our For Japan With Love benefit last night thank you so much we raised $4,000 for Shelter Box. I did not have my camera and I was running around like a crazy person, so until we get the photos from the photographers I will show you a sneak peek of our design details from pics I stole off twitter.

I am heading out of the office early today to begin set up for the For Japan With Love San Francisco Benefit. I am so excited for the 250+ people that have RSVPed. For all of you who are coming make sure to find me and say hello.

I am thrilled to be working with Yasmin of Floral Theory, Jacin of Lovely Little Details, and Hazel of Blu Bunglaow in partnership with Lucia & Henny of Utterly Engaged and Lydia of Ever Ours to bring For Japan With Love to San Francisco! Let's continue the efforts of the online 'For Japan With Love' disaster relief campaign in person! On April 26, bring your friends to Blu Bungalow in SF and enjoy an evening of cocktails & dessert, music, and a silent auction to benefit ShelterBox via For Japan With Love. Henny & Lucia of Utterly Engaged and Lydia of Ever Ours will be there to personally thank everyone for their generosity.

Silence is Golden

As I sit here in my warm house with the sun shining through my window, I can't help but feel a deep sadness for the people of Japan. I saw that Utterly Engaged was doing a bloggers day of silence and I feel compelled to participate. I will not be posting anything on my blog Tomorrow and I will take that time to think about  and pray for the people of Japan I can't even fathom what they must be feeling and going through.
