Mystery

Fog is not really a detail you can plan, though it does make a wedding seem so mysterious and romantic.

A Lovely Photo Blog

Please join me in welcoming one of my favorite photographers to the blog world. Welcome miss Christine Taylor!!! I have been patiently awaiting this day and I am so excited it has finally arrived. Christine is a super talented photographer based out of the Bay Area here in sunny California. I have had the pleasure of working with her on numerous occasions and love her vision and the way she captures each wedding. She is also on our list of preferred vendors and a part of our Black Label coming soon! Please head over and check out....

Sneak Peak {Historical Romantic Wedding}

In October I had the chance to work with the sweetest bride and groom. So today I have a few teaser shots for you from the talented Manus Chau Photography!

Rice Fields & Tractors {E Session}

A huge smile was pasted on my face when I saw these utterly perfect images of a bride and groom who booked Bustle for thier 2011 wedding. These stunning photos were taken by Shannon Rosan Photography. I am so excited to work with this super sweet couple. Chelsea is a teacher and Jeff is a rice farmer. Jeff and Chelsea are getting married May 7th, 2011 in Chico, CA.
Congrats!!

Friday Detail Day!!

Since it is detail day I thought I would share with you some of my favorite details from our last photoshoot with Christine Taylor. I know many of you have seen this shoot which was featured on Style Me Pretty, but I wanted to talk more about the details.
I'll start with the Save the Date which was designed and printed by Tree & Ink {Bustles Paper Division}

Next, we chose to use a vintage typewriter which was handed down to me by one of my great Aunts.

The bouquet and all the floral was designed by the amazing Yasmine from Wildflower Event Florals. I was in love with this bouquet!!

The Bride model wore two different amazing wedding dresses from Haute Bride in San Francisco and the stunningly detailed jewelry was designed and produced by Haute Bride as well. I wanted to keep all of the pieces for myself.

The table number was a gold painted wooden number made by Bustle and placed in an apothecary vase. The table numbers can be rented from Bustle.

The place cards have to be my all time favorite detail. I picked up vintage handkerchiefs at a local antique shop each with a touch a yellow. Then I screen printed each persons name on them and placed them on the plates.

The flowers on the table were a mixture of soft parrot tulips, peonies and bright yellow billy balls.

Soft yellow garden roses were placed in Bustle's mercury hanging vases and tied to the back of the rustic cross back chairs.

The grooms vest, pants and tie were all purchased at a local thrift shop for under $10. Yasmine created the perfect boutonniere for the final touch.

Last but definitely not least is this simply perfect cake by Emma Cakes in Oakland. I just about died when I saw it.
Thank you to all the vendors who helped create this amazing shoot.
A Special Thanks:
Meg Reed

:::Exciting News:::

Hello my sweet brides I am so excited this Monday morning. Today I woke up and began my daily ritual of scrolling through my favorite blogs and low and behold yours truly was gracing the post today on Eco-Beautiful Weddings.
I am so excited to be partnering with Katie From Eco- Beautiful. I am also happy to announce that I am now donating 10% of my design package proceeds to Hope 4 Kids Int. I am so inspired by all the work Tom is doing with Hope 4 Kids and my Dad has traveled with them to Uganda and saw first hand all that they do. Hope 4 Kids is a great organization I really trust the money truly goes straight to the kids.
I am going to leave you today with a swoon worthy e- session from none other than Stephanie Fay. As you all know I adore anything vintage and this shoot literally took my breath away.

Stephanie Fay

I am in love with Stephanie Fay's gorgeous images. I just adore the stunning way she captures the simple wedding rings. I mean really can you get any more creative? Please stop by her website and check out her swoon worthy work.

I hope everyone had an amazing Valentines day with your lovers.
