Stop The Press

The Aerialist Press is one of my favorite vendors to ever work with. Besides the fact that this couple is the cutest pair around their work is so amazingly gorgeous. They offer beautiful template invites, custom letterpress and a new line of watercolor letter press that will leave you breathless. They are so professional and do a great job bringing to life any idea you might have.
Please take a minute and pop on over to their site and you will get lost in a dreamland of delightful paper.

Put a Stamp on It

A vintage styled wedding is among my favorites so when I came across this website recently I just had to share.

If you're looking for another way to make your invited unique I have just the thing. Place vintage stamps on both the invite envelope and the RSVP return envelope. Not sure where to get them? Go to The Paper Nickel Stamp Company and check them out. You can either place an order for a random assortment or you can give them a color range and they will send you only stamps in those colors. I think I am in LOVE.

What's Happening at the Boutique?

Wow the past couple weeks have been extremely busy. I have brought on an intern who I adore. I have been working on our new website which will launch on the 2nd of August and I have been working on our new Etsy store which will also launch on August 2nd. Also our website will be on www.bustleevents.com and our blog will be on www.bustledblog.com. This week is going to be full of painting signs, creating seating cards and finishing up last minute details for one of my very good friends who is getting married at Cline Cellars in Sonoma this weekend.

Float On

While all the details of this wedding are adorable {and achievable!} it really got me thinking about the big send off. How great would it be to hop into a hot air balloon {the detail on the invite} and float up, up in the air while your guests light off sparklers below you...just dreamy.

What are your favorite exit strategies?

Eco- Lux Letterpress

All I can say is when I stumbled upon Copper Willow my jaw dropped. I could not get enough of their stunning images. I love their style, story and of course their breath taking correspondence. Oh, and I cannot forget their amazing calligrapher. They offer custom letterpress invitations as well as, note cards, place cards and just cards.

Tea Time

So this weekend I designed a tea themed bridal shower at the quaint Camillia Tea Room. What a fun group of people and a gorgeous bride! I designed and created the tea bag shaped invites. The amazingly beautiful cake was made by emmacakes. The Paulette Macarons favors were literally to die for. We sipped our tea and savored perfect little tea sandwiches and scones.

{ The Gorgeous Bride}

Me and the stunning Bride!

What's Happening at the Boutique?
This week has some fun things in store. Tomorrow I am heading out to Heartmann Studios for a tour of there facility as well as a meeting about a client. I am also meeting with a bride and my fav Christine Taylor. Then it is crunch time for a few weddings. I am also meeting with my partner in crime to go over all of my business stuff and make a few changes to my packages. I hope you all have a great week ahead!!!

{Confetti & Pinwheels}

Today I am going to take a break from weddings and show you some photos of my little girls 1st birthday. Since I am an event planner I of course had to go all out. I wanted a bright and fun theme so I decided to go with confetti & pinwheels.

It all began with one of the sweetest invitations I think I have ever created. Though I am bias because my daughters picture was on it.

I ordered amazing cup cakes from Sweetie Pies and they were just as amazing as I thought they would be
I made a banner to match the invitation.

Using different colored paper I made pinwheels and hung them from the light over the food table. Bright orange and burgundy ranunculus were the perfect flower for this party when placed in tall round bud vases.

The favors were colorful bags filled with animal crackers. YUM!
My dad made this bean bag toss game.(Can you tell where I get my creativity from?)

More too come!

Inspired by Paper {Baby Shower}

So I wanted to end the Inspired by Paper week with this baby shower invitation. I love the combination of lime green, fuchsia pink and chocolate brown. This invitation has fun written all over it. You can purchase them in our Etsy Store. I found so many great ideas for this party. Enjoy the eye candy and have a great weekend.

Inspired by Paper {Farewell Party}

I hope everyone had a great Labor day weekend! This week I am putting together inspiration boards that are inspired by some of our paper.
Today's inspiration comes from a teal and brown farewell invitation. So I put together an inspiration board for a farewell party.
The pairing of an earthy brown with a vibrant teal makes for a sophisticated bright event.

More inspiration to come this week.

HAPPY TUESDAY!

Coral and Teal inspiration board

Happy Monday everyone!
I am in love with these fresh and airy colors. Coral and blue are perfect for an outdoor wedding. They feel so light and add a soft feel to any event. Coral and teal would make the perfect pallet for a beachside wedding as well. Check out the inspiration board below for some amazing finds.

I am taking off early this morning I am off to a photo shoot with the talented Christine Taylor.

Black and White Inspiration board

I love the drama created by contrasting colors. Black and white are so classic and elegant. I put together this inspiration board filled with details from my own wedding. The great thing about black and white is they are great colors on their own or you can add in any color for a more contemporary look.

Save the Date

Make sure you send your save-the-date cards as soon as you have booked the location, especially if the wedding date falls on or near a holiday or school break. {Caution} Make sure your budget will accommodate all the guests you plan to invite. You can always send and invitation to a guest you did not send a save-the-date to, but you cannot send a save-the-date to someone and then choose not to invite them.

Here are some fabulous save-the-date ideas.
