It's Party Time

While reading my favorite blogs this morning I came across KristinaMarie's amazing confetti garlands on The Collection Blog. Are these little dotted garlands not the cutest things you've ever seen?

Make Room For Your Groom

Create a table for your groom, by decorating it in a way that reflects him. If he works in construction use vintage tool or reclaimed wood, or for a teacher use all books and rulers. Then place cigars and his favorite scotch on the table for the men to enjoy.

Rustic Vinyard {Real Wedding} Erin & Nate

Erin and Nate approached me about designing their wedding at Cline Cellars in Sonoma California and I could not have been happier. Both Erin and Nate wanted a classic elegant feel with a touch of rustic when it came to the design. They also wanted their guests to have a blast, and they did.

We incorporated a rustic lounge in the corner of the barrel room perfect for people to chat and sip wine. The bridesmaids wore cream which was daring, but when you confidence like Erin it's no big thing! LOVE IT! And can we talk about the cake... placed on top of huge cylinder vases filled with water and orchids! Stunning right?

Thank you Erin & Nate for letting Bustle be apart of your big day!!

Brighten Up

I came across this styled shoot and I just had to share it with all you Brides. The colors are so bright and vibrant giving off a fun spring feel. The veggies and lemons are the perfect organic addition. To top it off the back drop of rustic wood and neutral colors make the green and blue pop. What do you think of this shoot?

Goodbye 2010....Hello 2011

From all of us at Bustle Happy New Years Eve. Please be safe tonight whatever you do. This has been an amazing year for Bustle and we are so excited to reveal some new fun things in 2011. Next week we will be unveiling Bustles Black Label. I hope your ready.
For now here is some New Years Party inspiration.

Put a Stamp on It

A vintage styled wedding is among my favorites so when I came across this website recently I just had to share.

If you're looking for another way to make your invited unique I have just the thing. Place vintage stamps on both the invite envelope and the RSVP return envelope. Not sure where to get them? Go to The Paper Nickel Stamp Company and check them out. You can either place an order for a random assortment or you can give them a color range and they will send you only stamps in those colors. I think I am in LOVE.

What's Happening at the Boutique?

Wow the past couple weeks have been extremely busy. I have brought on an intern who I adore. I have been working on our new website which will launch on the 2nd of August and I have been working on our new Etsy store which will also launch on August 2nd. Also our website will be on www.bustleevents.com and our blog will be on www.bustledblog.com. This week is going to be full of painting signs, creating seating cards and finishing up last minute details for one of my very good friends who is getting married at Cline Cellars in Sonoma this weekend.

::::Something Old::::

For the rest of this week I am going to be doing posts based of the old saying "something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue".

Today we are looking at something old. If among the few lucky girls who can actually pull of their mother wedding gown you have this one covered, but if not, here are few ideas.

A vintage engagement ring or wedding band.

A veil your mother or grandmother wore or one you pick up at a vintage shop.

Antique or heirloom earrings, necklace or bracelet.

A tiny vintage clutch or purse to use for your money dance.Vintage buttons are perfect to add to your dress or put them on your bouquet.

Antique lace used as a wrap around your bouquet.

Adding your grandmothers or mothers old brooch pin to your bouquet or garter.

What's happening at the Boutique?

This week wedding season is back in full force. I have been printing, cutting and assembling like a mad woman. I completed a brides Save the Dates and placed paper orders for all the upcoming weddings. This week my to do list includes finish the design of more invitations and meet with many more brides to finalize plans. I am also meeting with caterers and getting quotes for lighting packages.

I am loving every single one of my very different brides. This wedding season will be so much fun!!!

Happy Planning!!

Some Winter Whites

Well hello there my fabulous brides. Sorry for the lack of post yesterday we decided to leave LA in the morning so we would not hit any traffic on our way home and we made the right decision because we had clear sailing all 7 hours.

Today I wanted to share with you another one of my favorite flowers. Paper Whites make an amazing flower for a winter bouquet. I love them in a big bunch by themselves. There is something so whimsical about this dainty little flower that screams romance. The little pop of yellow in the middle gives way to spring as well. If you are having a winter wedding or a spring fling keep this simple little flower in mind.
Happy planning and have an amazing weekend gorgeous readers!!
