Real Wedding {A Modern Romance} 2

I am back with more of the modern romantic details from Marco & Lindsays wedding.

To keep with the modern feel I made all the signage with pieces of plexiglass and the printed signs.

The couples new last name started with a "B" and they really wanted to incorporate that into their day so we created their monogram "B" and used it on many of their paper items and also had custom stir sticks made with the monogram for their Mojito signature drink.

For the couples favors they wanted a candy buffet, so Bustle created pearl color bags with purple ribbon and a custom label as well as labels for all of the candy. Guests enjoyed filling their bags with an assortment of silver and white candies.

Last but not least this gorgeous cake was made buy Julie Myers and it had the most subtle details. Julie created a pattern out of three tiny dots and the couples first initials along the bottom of each layer in a monotone white. She then placed the dahlias and orchids to create a cascade of color and topped it off with the signature "B".

Thank you Marco and Lindsay for letting Bustle be a part of your day!

Green and Purple Wedding

I adore this new color pallet I am working with for one of my clients it is bold and cheerful and would well for a fall wedding. I love working with such rich colors. I wanted to share a few fabulous photos I have come across for this palette. When I choose colors with a bride I then look at all the different way those colors can be used to create a cohesive look and feel for the wedding. Remember to infuse your wedding in as many places as possible with your colors and theme. I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving. I would love to know how many of your brides have choosen your colors and what combo's have you come up with?

Lime Green & Purple Inspiration Board

I love the combination of bright refreshing lime green paired with a deep sultry dark purple. These two colors balance each other out and keep your wedding edgy. I also love when a deep purple is paired with a rich orange. All shades of purple are going to be making a show this year in both fall and summer weddings.

Check out this fabulous inspiration board of lime green and deep purple. Tomorrow I will post an Orange and Purple board.

Peonies another of my obsessions

I am obsessed with Peonies. They are so classic and beautiful. I love the vintage feel they add to weddings. They are only in season from early April to mid June so, if your wedding falls in that time you can definitely use Peonies. They come in so many gorgeous rich colors. The deep pinks and pure white are among my favorites. I adore the monochromatic look of the below bouquet.

The centerpiece below is so classic and chic. It works perfect for an outdoor wedding or a bridal shower. The color is so rich and bold, this centerpiece truly makes a statement.

I ♥ Anemones

Flowers are so very important in any event. They brighten up a room and bring the outdoors in. They can also add color to the green of an outdoor wedding. I love using a ton of flowers in the events I design. A bouquet acts almost as the center piece of the bride's/ bridesmaid's dresses.

Anemones are my absolute favorite flower especially the white ones with black centers. The contrast in color is stunning. This bouquet by Martha Stewart is fabulous. I love the simple regal feel of the bouquet.
I can't get enough of this flower. It comes in a wide array of colors. I love this purple varietal as well, and am highly considering it for an upcoming wedding I am working on that is centering on purple and gray as the color pallet.

Purple and Grey Insipration Board

I created this as an inspiration for an up coming wedding I am working on. I love this color pallet. These colors add a simple and chic look to any event.

Have a beautiful weekend everyone.
