Pretty Hungry?

You can wow your guests with perfectly pretty food and all it takes is a little eye for design.

Keep Truckin'

Food trucks are all the rage and bringing them into a wedding is a great way to add your personality to your wedding or event. I am currently working on the design for a fair themed wedding and we are adding in food trucks so I just have to share with you a bit of inspiration.

Time to get Cheesy

This cheese station is breath taking....

Do Do a Doughnut

As you know I have a tiny obsession with doughnuts and what better gift to give your guests as a midnight snack than a decedent doughnut? Especially when they are baked and not fried. Well Dough A Deer is making that possible with their perfect packaging and their huge selection of flavors, glazes and toppings. You MUST pop on over and see what all the fuss is about.

Man Your Stations

I have been so obsessed with food and weddings today so I thought I would share with you my new fav. I love that caterers are now offering a variety of food stations for guests to visit instead of just one buffet with limited choices. You can have a Chinese food station, hamburger station, sushi station, ect. Imagine your guest meandering around tasting all types of yummy food. Check them out!!

Wedding Food on a Stick

I don't know if it is the feel of a carnival or just the child within you that comes out when you eat food off a stick. I love how creative caterers and bakers are getting with the food for weddings. Check out these pieces of perfection on a stick. I would love to know if you are serving any of these items.

Sticks are perfect for both sweet and savories.

What's Happening at the Boutique?

I am working away on time lines and finishing up a few invitation orders. Creating details for a few upcoming weddings. This weekend I am having a brain storming for a photo shoot in July. I cannot wait to show you pictures from the gorgeous wedding this passed weekend.

Design With Food?

Yes, that is right food can be yet another way to create a uniqueness about your wedding. I love when even the food speaks of a couple, whether it be their favorite food, a cultural dish or the plating. Food can leave such a lasting impression on a guest and when it tastes as amazing as it looks you cannot go wrong.

Check out these pieces of art!

The Simple and Detailed Cake

Cakes are so important and yet many people end up getting to the cake and just don't know what they want. A simple cake can pull together a classic wedding and a detailed cake can be yet another way to wow your guests. I adore both types and only you (and your designer) will know which style of cake will best suite your wedding.

P.S. The taste of a cake is just as important or all that money you spent on it will go to waste. Make sure you taste your cake before you decide.

Check these amazing cakes and let me know which you love.

What's Happening at the Boutique?

Yesterday I met with yet another wonderful bride. I am so excited to work with her. I swear I am such a lucky designer, all of my brides are so sweet. I am working away like crazy for the rest of this week, so I am ready to leave on Friday afternoon for one of my brides bachlorette parties. I am so excited we are off to Calistoga for wine tasting, dinner and spa day.

Well I am off to get more work done. Have a perfect Wednesday!

Oh I adore Food..

Well I realized I have never posted about food and food is yet another design element. I have a few of my all time favorite caterers and I thought I would like to share a little about them with you.

The first is Elaine Bell Catering can I just say wow! The food is just as amazing as their presentation. Not to mention their d*lish raspberry pomegranate lemonade ahhhhh it is so refreshing. I love love love their choice of appetizers. They offer a free tasting to couples so please call them and check them out if you are still searching for your caterer. Elaine Bell is also a green caterer so what an added bonus.
Another favorite caterer of mine is Park Avenue Catering located in Cotati California. I love their food as well and they are so reasonably priced. Their skirt steak is always cooked to perfection. If you are getting married in the summer they have a fabulous corn salad that is so refreshing. Another added bonus about Park Avenue catering is that they are certified Green.
